PADI IDC Instructor Development Course

Our training to be a PADI instructor consist of 3 parts. The Emergency First Response Instructor course (EFRI), the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) – combining the Assistant Instructor course (AI) with the Open Water Scuba Instructor course (OWSI) – and the Instructor Examination (IE).

Our courses

Level: Beginner

Open Water Diver

Not including a student manual and certification.

This course is for beginners with no experience or those with limited diving experience.

Duration: 3-5 days

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to dive independently in a group to a depth of 18 meters.

Minimum age - 10 years old.

The course consists of:

theoretical part, at the end of which an exam is taken
pool dives with necessary exercises
4 practical sessions with dives in the coastal zone in open water up to 18 meters

Before starting the course, you need to swim a distance of 200 meters and demonstrate the ability to stay afloat for 10 minutes.

We also offer two ways to complete the Open Water Diver course:

Individual course (max 1-2 people). For those who prefer a personalized approach!
In a group of 6-8 students

We recommend taking the two-day Advanced Open Water Diver course right after the Open Water Diver course.
This way, you will complete both courses within one week with the same instructor, reinforcing the skills learned in the Open Water course while gaining new knowledge.

Level: Advanced

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Not including a student manual and certification.

This course is designed to help you raise your level and improve the knowledge you gained during the Open Water Diver course.


Duration: 2 days – 5 dives


The lessons will enrich your diving experience and build upon the knowledge gained in the Open Water Diver course. The Advanced OWD course includes 2 core dives and 3 elective dives in open water.
Unlike the previous course (Open Water Diver), the Advanced Diver program is more practice-oriented: theory is provided during the practical sessions immediately before the dives from the shore or boat. There are no classroom sessions or pool dives.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES:

Open Water Diver certification
Minimum age 12 years old

Level: Professional

Divemaster

Not including a student manual and certification.

If you are thinking about leaving your office job and starting a new life as a professional diver, this course is for you!!!

Duration: 3-4 weeks

Upon completion of the course, a Divemaster can:

- Supervise certified divers

- Assist in diving training

During the Divemaster course, you will work under the direct supervision of our most experienced diving instructors, gaining experience in conducting courses and refining your own skills.

To complete the course, you will need to pass the following exercises:

- 400-meter swim for time

- 800-meter swim with a mask and snorkel for time

- Stay afloat without movement for 15 minutes

- Stay afloat with arms raised for 2 minutes

- 100-meter tow of a tired diver

- Problem-solving assessment. This exercise is conducted during an equipment exchange with a dive buddy underwater using a single regulator

- Demonstrate 18 basic underwater skills

- Assist in water during a diver rescue

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES:

Open Water, Advanced Diver, EFR, Rescue certification, 20 logged dives (but 60 dives are required for certification). Minimum age 18 years. A medical certificate permitting underwater activities (signed by a doctor within the past year).
